Gopher Hole Museum

Gopher Hole Museum is a very funny museum. The guy who owns it, calls them gophers, but they are really ground squirrels. It is located in Torrington, Alberta, Canada. All of the gophers have passed away (the ones in the museum, that is), so he stuffed them. It is two dollars to go there. The museum is the size of an RV. It takes less than 10 minutes to go and look there. I think it is not worth it to spend $2.00 to look - you have to take a trip and you are done in 10 minutes. Because everyone loves the Gopher Museum, every fire hydrant in town is painted like a gopher! The museum will give you a map and you can go and see the gopher hydrants.

Here is a video so that you don't have to pay $2.00 to see the gophers. So, watch it! http://www.metacafe.com/watch/852262/gopher_hole_museum/ My favorites are "The Stick Up" and "The Wedding".

I think it is stupid to have to go see some dead gophers in costumes, but they are very cute. If my dad made his own "gopher scene", it would be a gopher dressed as The Creature (from the Black Lagoon) holding a scared gopher girl.

The Gopher From The Black Lagoon would be very very cool.
