Firefighters need pet-sized masks on their trucks for pets rescued in a fire and who cannot breathe. You can buy the oxygen masks (to donate) on these websites: http://www.petsamerica.org/programs.html or http://www.wagn4u.com/pet_oxygen_masks.html or donate money. The firefighters had to breathe in the animals noses to help them breathe and they cannot use people masks because their size is wrong. If you have a pet, then it would be good to buy a mask (to donate) or donate money to the fire trucks in all pet sizes.We love our pets very much and would be very sad if our pets died because fire fighters couldn't help them. All fire fighters are heroes!
You can also buy a dog CPR dummy to help train the new fire fighters (also on this website: http://www.petsamerica.org/rescuecritters.html .) Remember to put a sticker on your house window that says you have a pet or pets. If you have a fire, it will tell the fire fighters you have pet(s) that need to be rescued. The government (grovermut) will not give money to the fire fighters for animal oxygen masks, because the money has to help save humans only. PLEASE HELP!
