Monkey Babies

These baby monkeys live in the Denver Zoo. They are Emperor Tamarin monkey twins. Their names are Lara and Lucy. On July 30th, when they were only three weeks old, their mom died of cancer. So they live in the animal nursery. They are so tiny, they drink out of a syringe with a nipple (see in picture.) Also, they are brushed with a toothbrush. I think Lara and Lucy are the cutest things in the world.

The Dangerous Limb & Nosey Neighbor Love

The day after our cat, Rigby, died, a limb the size of a really big tree feel in my yard. It went from fence to fence. It fell at 6:15 in the morning. I didn't hear it, but my mom and dad did. It had not fully fallen, yet it crushed the net on my trampoline, made our shed "toast", and our wheelbarrow was smashed. If it had fallen when we had Rigby's funeral, we would be dead, too. We spent a lot of time cleaning it up, but we're almost done.

Our freak neighbors looked excited thinking we would give them the precious gift of a log to burn. Our freak neighbors, who live in different houses, when it's not raining or they're awake, will find something to burn - from trees to vinyl siding. Later they sit in the bathroom to peek at us. Also, at other times, they find are finding other ways to be nosey. They are in love, I think.

Funeral Comfort

Yesterday, I went to my grandma's sister's funeral. I was sad. So, if you are sad if one of your loved ones died, then here is a note for you.

I am sorry for "such-n'-such" dying. Well, he/she was suffering and God said it is time for him/her to go. The body is empty. He/she left that body behind. Their soul went to find a new one. God just unplugged that plug that connects the soul to the body. Now he/she is in the bestest place. And he/she gets to see everyone he/she missed who died before them.

All the saddness, tears and funerals are for the people who are alive. You're the one who is sad. The person who died is joyful, happy and they shed only tears of joy. Don't worry - you will see them again.

Groovie Goolies

You probably don't know what this show is, but my mom and dad watched it when they were little. And I watch it on dvd. Their show is made to be like the Archie Show. It all started in the '70's. Here are the main characters: Frankie (Frankenstein); Wolfie (Werewolf); Drac (Dracula); Hagatha (a witch who is married to Drac); Batzo and Ratzo (mischief-maker twins); Bonapart (skeleton of Napoleon Bonaparte); Dr. Jekyll-Hyde (two-headed doctor); and Bella La Ghostley (the dracula woman). This show is hilarious and I love it. My two top favorite cool ghouls are Wolfie and Frankie. I hope you love it! Boo!

P.S. I think the Wolf Wagon is cool. It is also hairy.

R.I.P. Rigby

My mom's cat, Rigby, who she had for a long time died today. He is about 20 years old, which is very old. He got very sick and he died in my mom's arms. It made me very sad. When I looked into his eyes, as she was holding him, you could see he had no soul. He is in Heaven. I love him.

(Sorry, I couldn't make his eyes not glow in the picture.)
