Erasure

Mom and I like Erasure. The band has these two guys named Andy Bell and Vince Clarke. This weekend my dad bought me this cd of them called "Erasure Pop 20 Hits". Here are my favorite songs: "Who Needs Love"; "Heavenly Action"; "Oh L'amour"; "Sometimes"; "Victim of Love"; "A Little Respect"; "Stop!"; "Blue Savannah"; and "Take a Chance on Me". They cover the song "Take a Chance on Me" from Abba. In their video, they try to make it like Abba's video. It is so hilarious. Try to compare them (the two videos) and you'll see it. It is stupid funny. They are very good.

My dad does not like them. I don't know why. What's not to like? My mom and I turn it on and sing and dance to make him mad. It works!

On another album, there is a song called "Witch in the Ditch". That's what I call my neighbor because she's so nosey that she hides in the ditch. This is true, not false!

Swine Cold

Sorry for not having any new blogs put up in a while. I had a bad cold, but not really the swine flu. What is the "swine flu"? Well, me and my parents caught this bad cold and called it the "swine cold". Sorry again! I hope you don't get sick.

(Blogs resume tomorrow.)

Blind Cats

I found this website today and decided to write about it. It is about this place that helps blind cats, who were given to a shelter that kills them because they are blind and according to them are unadoptable. My cat, Rigby, is going blind and is very old.

You can donate money for all these blind cats. They have a wish list for what they need and you can buy these things right on the website (it is a link to sort of a registry of items.) You can visit them in St. Pauls, North Carolina. They need volunteers to help love them.

If you have a blind cat don't let him get killed by giving him up to a shelter - bring him to this place. And here is the website: http://www.blindcatrescue.com/ . Please, I say please, help the blind cats. I don't want them to get killed. Also, someone very mean came and tore up (hacked) the web page where they have stuff all about the cats who have died.

It is very sad and I'm not going to get rid of Rigby. That is him in the picture. He's so cuddly! There is barely any difference between a blind cat and a regular cat - just that they can't see. They don't have to see you. Would you kill a blind person? Not I! My grandma, Bubby, lost her eye and I would do anything to have her back. You know it is not about the eyes, just about the love. Help these sweet babies and the people who take care of them.

Mr. Goat's Driving Lesson

One day, Mr. Cat was driving his Catalack down the highway. Mr. Goat was in front of him and was having trouble because Mr. Pig was swerving all over the place in the other lane. Mr. Cat thought it was Mr. Goat's fault and started yelling and screaming and honking at him. He called him an old goat and said "Stop gnawing on the steering wheel and drive!" So, Goat pulled over, got out of his car and went over to Mr. Cat (who had also pulled over.) "What's the matter Mr. Cat?", he asked. Mr. Cat said, still screaming, "You are a terrible driver. You were swerving all over the place, you, you, you . . . mess!"

Mr. Cat took Mr. Goat to a closed K-Mart parking lot and said, still half screaming, "I am going to give you a driving lesson!" Mr. Cat gave him a driving lesson at K-Mart (she put the R in a circle below K-Mart, but I don't know how to type that). Mr. Cat said, "Don't wreck or you will pay for my car!" He got his driving lesson and he passed. Then, he told Mr. Cat what really happened. Mr. Cat gave him some money for an apology. Mr. Cat still yells at people on the highway.

We found these pictures on the internet and I made a story about them. LOL

Titanic

The Titanic was a big ship. It was four city-blocks long and as tall as an eleven-story building. People called it the "Wonder Ship", because it was supposed to not sink. It set out to go from England to America. Then on their journey, they hit an iceberg and it hurt the ship. It began to sink! People thought it was a joke, because they knew that this boat could not sink. But when people looked down, they saw the boat was sinking! There were 2,227 people on board. They filled the lifeboats, but only 750 made it.

A guy named Robert Ballard decided he would go and look for the Titanic. He used a robot and found it! He left a note on it asking people to leave the Titanic in peace. And everybody did. He found suitcases and bottles.

I think this is a very sad story. I would have wanted to be on one of the lifeboats, if I had been on there. The Titanic - the "unsinkable ship", people thought it was unthinkable that it was sinkable.

Otters

I like otters. I think they are funny. Here are two of my favorite otter videos.

The first picture is of Pip and Pop from "Bear In The Big Blue House". They are otters, too. The other picture is baby otters from SeaWorld in Orlando.

Here is a joke: Why does an otter ride in a rocket? So he can go to Otter Space! Ha, ha, ha.
