Commercials That Don't Make Sense

I saw this commercial (cersimal) that said if you or a loved one died, then you could get a cash refund. That is impossible! How can you get it if you're dead?!? And I saw a commercial that said if you were a nurse that you could not take their medicine. (She is referring to when they say you shouldn't take a certain medicine if you are pregnant or nursing.)

Also, I don't understand when the commericals say to ask you doctor if you can take this medicine. Why doesn't the doctor tell you to take the medicine? And why would you want to take this medicine if it says you can get diseases, headaches, pains, nausea, purple body parts and even rashes?

These commericals don't make any sense.

McHale's Navy

I like McHale's Navy tv show. It is really funny. They get together and then there is a lot of mischief. Did you know that the guys who play McHale and Mr. Parker also do the voices of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy from Spongebob Squarepants? (Ernest Borgnine and Tim Conway)

If you have not watched McHale's Navy, then you should. You would burst out laughing! LOL! Here is an example from one of the episodes that was funny. I was watching it today. Mr. Parker was forced to work for Captain Binghamton, because he got in trouble. He was doing something to work on the grass and Captain Binghamton called him. Mr. Parker looked up and sprayed his face with the hose! See I told you it was funny.

Babe, The Two-Legged Puppy

Babe is a little puppy dog - half poodle, half chihuahua. She was born with no front legs. She doesn't care. Babe is very cute and sweet. She sits like a person and hops around on her hind legs like a kangaroo. She was almost given away and people told her owner he should put her to sleep. If you watch the video, you will see her whole story. Here it is: Babe's Story - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUQery6RkYE .

Her owner loves her very much. She is very happy. There is nothing wrong with her, but she doesn't have front legs. This should teach people that God did not give you anything you couldn't handle.

Guess what day she was born?!? Halloween! I love this dog.

Do Great Good

"Do Great Good" is a search engine, that every time you go on there and search - it gives money to charities. The foundation for right now is Petfinder.com. You can use Yahoo! or Google, but "Do Great Good" is better and it doesn't cost you anything to give to a charity. That's good for me, because I can look things up and I don't have any money. Here it is: http://www.dogreatgood.com/?rfcid=1300&rfcp=header-right . My mom found it for me.

No More Slim Jims

Did you know that, near our house, the Slim Jim and Con Agra Foods factory exploded? It just fell apart. Well, three people died. We need to keep the people who are hurt in our prayers and the families of those who did die. That was the only Slim Jim factory in the whole world! We need to pray for the people who did not die to get another job quickly to help their families. There is a lot of good praying to do for a lot of good people.

X #2

Yesterday night, my dad and I went to see X play again at the Cat's Cradle. You can see their website at: http://www.xtheband.com/ . Billy Zoom acted silly with me like last time. He told us he has twin daughters. When they were done, Exene gave me their set list (which I taped on my wall.) She was very nice and I talked to her for a long time. It was so cool to meet her. My dad bought a little wooden "X" painted white (from the store Michael's), which we only got Exene and Billy Zoom to sign (and my dad's cd.) I also got a button set and a poster at the show.

Please keep Exene in your prayers, because she has a disease called multiple sclerosis. She looked like she was not feeling good and looked tired, but she was still great.

They played most of my favorites, which I got to vote on online, like "Nausea", "Johnny Hit and Run Pauline", "Los Angeles", "Sugarlight", "Soul Kitchen" and "White Girl". I had a great time, even though my friends James and Lauren weren't there, but I saw people from last time and they remembered me. I felt like the Queen of X, again.

Happy Birthday, Mama!

Today is mom's birthday! I'd tell you to do the same thing like with my dad's blog (wishing him a happy birthday), but she doesn't have a blog.

Today, is also my last day of school. It is a happy day.

Happy Birthday, Mama!
